Job Summary:
- Prepares food and serves patients, guests and staff.
- Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times.
- Follows recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving of foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishment.
- Prepares foods by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry for culinary use.
- Tastes products, reads menus, estimates food requirements, check production, and keep records in order to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment.
- Prepare bakery items, receive inventory, move and lift foodstuffs and supplies and prepare meals for customers requiring special diets.
- Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
-Ability to work a flexible shift including weekends and Holidays
-Ability to push-pull 25lbs- 50lbs.
-Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
-High school graduate or equivalent vocational certificate
-Certification of Culinary training or apprenticeship preferred but not necessary
-Knowledge of food preparation and handling
-Knowledge of sanitation requirements techniques
-Produce creative and artistic food work
-Endure various physical movements throughout the work area
-Demonstrate knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and service as typically acquired by a minimum of one year food service experience
-Must have prior experience in food Service at least 1 to 2 years of work related experience
-Personal hygiene should be high
-Can work well under pressure
-High School Diploma or GED equivalent
-Serv Safe preferred
-Must be at least 18 years of age
Sucessful candidate must pass a Background Check and Drug Screen

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
