Hybrid Local profiles only! The Project Manager should have the following skills:
o 5-10 plus years of direct hands-on technical Project Management experience, preferably having managed Virginia state-level technology projects.
o Project Schedule development experience along with 3rd party vendor schedule integration.
o Experience developing and documenting both technical and business requirements.
o Budget, scope, and risk/issue management experience.
o Project Management leadership experience of cross-functional matrixed teams.
o 3rd party vendor management experience.
o Procurement experience, preferably associated with a Virginia state technology project.
o Knowledge of Quality Assurance (e.
g.
, Test Plans, Test Scripts) and best practices.
o Knowledge of varied technologies and security, Infrastructure, Cloud-Computing, and Data Management best practices are a plus.
o Strong business, technical and analytical skills.
o Attention to detail and logical thinking.
o Ability to facilitate technical project meetings and translate the outcome into project schedules.
o Ability to oversee and track progress, translating outcomes into management briefings and weekly status reports.
o Clear, concise, and diplomatic written/verbal communication skills across all levels.
o Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
o Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, and customer service skills.
o Self-motivated team player, able to work cooperatively in a team environment.
o Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines when required.
o Effectively manage and solve complex business and technical problems.
o Aptitude for learning new technologies, applications, and business processes.
o College degree, Masters degree preferred.
o Experience using system-based project management applications:
Microsoft Project and Planview.
o Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) certification preferred.
o Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
o VITA PM Certification preferred.
o Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, and ITIM certifications are a plus.
